There are no regular scheduled buses from Mineralnye Vody - just private buses: in front of the airport and in front of railway station. Usually the buses are ordered by a group but they may have sits available. Cost is about 12-15 Euro per sit. Though there is no guarantee that there will be available sits for sure in such buses. Cost of a mini bus (8-10 sits) is about 120-150 Euro (negotiable).

There are two bus stations in Nalchik: intercity and local. From the local station there are two scheduled minibuses operating to Terskol at 13:00; 16:00. The schedule is not strictly adhered to. Sometimes these buses depart when full. Cost is about 4 Euro per sit. It is possible to rent a car or minibus to Terskol at the intercity station. Cost of a mini bus (8-10 sits) is about 90-120 Euro (negotiable).
